The single segmental vertebral fracture reduction and fixation of traumatic thoracolumbar fractures observation of 68 cases
Objective To investigate the single segment after fracture fixation cone traumatic thoracolumbar fractures clinical efficacy. Methods March 2009 February 2012 our hospital traumatic thoracolumbar fractures in 68 patients. Preoperative and postoperative measurements variable exponent wedge fracture, fracture segment index evaluate the sagittal vertebral fracture reduction and fixation of single segmental clinical efficacy. Results The surgery went smoothly, operative time 83.2±4.1 min, blood loss 127.4±8.8 ml, all patients were followed up for 28.2±3.6 months, are bony fusion without fixation failure. Preoperative fracture of vertebral fractures wedge variable index 42.6±11.2%, fracture segments sagittal index 13.1±4.3°, postoperative fracture wedge variable index 21.7±7.5%, fracture segments sagittal index 4.4±2.7°, wedge fracture of last follow-up change index 24.35±6.43%, segmental sagittal fracture index 6.17±2.67°, compared to the preoperative differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Single segmental vertebral fracture reduction and fixation of traumatic thoracolumbar fractures better, can be promoted in clinical practice.
