The Survival situation analysis of fifty-eight patients with laryngeal carcinoma
Objective Reviewed and summarize the clinic documents of laryngeal cancer hospitalized. Methods These patients were followed up for five years and analysised their relationship of clinic features and survival. Results We found that cervical node metastasis, the site of the tumor and positive surgical margins are significant indicators for survival by the method of single factor analysis(P<0.05). According to multiple-factor analysis it is also concluded that cervical node metastasis and positive surgical margins are meaningful indicators for survival, but it is not significant with the site of tumor. Conclusions These data show that cervical node metastasis and positive surgical margins have significant effects on laryngeal cancer patients'life-time.
