Objective Investigate the effect of head nurse in the salon of nursing management. Methods From January 2009, the hospital Nursing Dept. Started the organization of head nurse salon once monthly in our hospital, the problems were encountered in nursing management, we express our opinions, put forward the methods and select the best solution to improve the nursing management level and the nursing service quality through the discussion, researching and other methods. Result It can lead to everyone learn from each other and promote ourselves, inspires everyone's innovative thinking and expands the work mentality, promote the head nurse, the management plan formulated by Nursing Dept executable well, Nursing Dept improved the management level through the head nurse salon. Conclusion The development of the head nurse salon in nursing management plays a very active role, it increased the team cohesion and execution of nursing management, giving play to the potential of the head nurse.
