Analysis on anti friction performance of the different repair materials in prosthodontics
Objective To investigate anti friction performance of the different repair materials in prosthodontics. Methods 115 cases of oral repair(130 teeth) from January 2011 to July 2013 in our hospital were selected as observing objects, and were randomly divided into resin group 38 cases(44 teeth), metal group 36 cases(42 teeth), ceramic group 41 cases(44 teeth), repaired the effect after three months of follow-up. Results After repair treatment, 4 cases in resin group loosened, significantly higher than the metal group, the difference was statistically significant;3 cases in ceramics group cracked tooth, and 3 cases of deformity or bleeding gums in metal group, higher than the other two groups,but the difference was not significant; the repair success rate in three group, there were no significant difference. Conclusion Three kinds of materials used in prosthodonticsproperties each have advantages and disadvantages, there was no significant difference in anti friction performance, should choose suitable materials according to the actual situation ofpatients.
