Application of veno-arteriolization in fingers replantation of distal segment finger
Objective To explore application of veno-arteriolization in replantation of distal segment finger. Methods 46 fingers in 40 cases which were received and cured in our hospital from September 2010-January 2012 underwent in veno-arteriolization, the arteries were no longer fit for anastomosis. Postoperative follow-up ranged from 6 months to 3 years with 30 cases. Assessing them according to the standard functional evaluation issued by Hand Surgery Association of Chinese Medical Association. Results 39 cases were successful, while l case was thanatosis.Function recovery was graded excellent in 20 cases, good in 7 cases, fair in 3 cases. The excellent and good rate was 90.0%. Conclusions Veno-arteriolization was a feasible treatment in finger replantation of distal segment finger which arteries were no longer fit for anastomosis. Its effect is reliable, is worth popularizing in clinic. Active system of exercise after operation can improve the blood circulation in finger replantation, prevent the stiff joints, improve neurologic function of restoration.
