Clinical Application of Antimicrobial Agents for Inpatients：A Cross-sectional Study
Objective To investigate the clinical application of antimicrobial agents for inpatients in our hospital. Methods A cross-section investigation method was carried out and analyzed the the utilization of antimicrobial agents, DDDs, The total rate of pathogens sent for etiological examination for all the inpatients within a day. Results Among the total 2601 inpatients investigated, 1274 cases used antibiotics, The average utilization rate was 48.98%; Among the antibacterial drugs, utilization rate from high to low was Cephalosporins(57.97%), fluoroquinolone 28.68% and penicillin 13.35%; There are 984 cases were sent for pathogens etiological examination, the rate of etiologic test was37.83%. Conclusion The rate of antibiotic use is Conform to the standard of Ministry of Health in China, but the utilization rate in the surgery was on the high side, the total rate of pathogens sent for etiological examination in Preventive medicine was low, which exist the phenomenon of using drug blindly and it is need to enhance the specification of using antimicrobial drugs.
