Study on inducing factors and pregnancy outcome in patients with preterm premature rupture of the membrane
Objective To investigate inducing factors and pregnancy outcome in patients with preterm premature rupture of the membrane(PPROM). Methods 180 pregnant women with PPROM from January 2008 to December 2012 in our hospital were selected, statistical analyzed PPROM risk factors and pregnancy outcome. Results By multiple stepwise regression analysis, PPROM was associated with the susceptibility factors: twin pregnancy, induced abortion history≥2 and breech presentation, the difference were statistically significant(P <0.05); all the mode of delivery, cesarean section rate was the highest, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05); neonatal mortality rate was 5.0%(3/60). Conclusion The risk factors of PPROM include twin pregnancy, induced abortion history ≥2 and breech, should try to avoid the above factors to increase the rate of vaginal delivery and reduce the neonatal mortality rate.
