Influence of Health Education for Self-management Ability in Patients with Diabetes
Objective To analyze and explore health education for self-management ability in patients with diabetes. Methods 120 cases with diabetes from August 2010 to December 2012 were selected. Patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group, 60 cases in each group. Control group received routine nursing. Observation group received nursing intervention of health education on the basis of routine nursing. After intervention, each related indexes of self-management ability were compared. Results Active control diet, active movement, self-test, changes of bad habits and rational drug use in observation group were better than control group. The difference was statistically significant(P <0.05). Conclusion Health education significantly improves self-management ability in patients with diabetes. It has important significance for the treatment of patients with diabetes. It is worth popularizing application in clinical nursing.
