The value of diagnosing the tubal pregnancy by TAS and TVS
Objective Investigating the value of TAS and TVS in the diagnosing of tubal pregnancy.Method Make a retrospective analysis to the 37 cases that happened between January 2011 and January 2013, which have been diagnosed as tubal pregnancy by the TAS and TVS. Results The sonographic of tubal pregnancy can be classified into three sorts: gestational sac type;messy mass and pelvic fluid;substantive small heterogeneous mass. The size of the mass has influence to the accuracy of TAS and TVS, the influence is apparent when the size is less than 3cm. Among the 37 cases, the compliance rate of TVS is 94.5% and the TAS is 54%.Conclusion The TVS has a apparent superiority to TAS when they were done to the small unruptured mass of ectopic pregnancy, so TVS can be used effectively in the early diagnosing of tubal pregnancy. When the size of the mass is greater than 5cm, TAS would be useful.In the end, if TAS and TVS were used at the same time, the accuracy of the diagnosing a tubal pregnancy can be guaranteed.
