Objective To discuss the effect of HE4 (human epididymis protein 4) standard in the diagnosis of ovarian function. Methods 210 cases of patients were divided into three groups. The comparison group was 100 cases of healthy women. The treatment groups were 100 cases of EOC, 45 cases of non ovarian cancer patients and 65 cases of other tumors, And their HE4 standard were checked by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). Results The serum EOC in patients with HE4 was significantly higher than that in health group and ovarian non cancer patients;according to P95 in healthy controls(percent 95) value, not menopause person HE4 detection of ovarian cancer Cut-off value is 58.2pmol/L, the sensitivity was 57.5%, specificity was 93.9%;HE4 detection in ovarian cancer Cut-off for 67.6 pmol/L, the sensitivity was 80.3%, specificity was 86.4%. The serum HE4 levels in patients with ovarian cancer increased with tumor grade, staging, lymph node metastasis in patients with HE4 were significantly higher than those without metastasis. In addition, follow-up to detect the serum samples from 28 patients with EOC, the change of HE4 concentration can well reflect the development trend of the disease;Change and disease development of HE4 concentration between the coincidence rate was 82.2%(23/28). Operation treatment, the condition improved, decreased the level of HE4(21/25). Conclusion HE4 has a good application value in the EOC diagnosis and therapeutic monitoring, prognosis.
