Clinical Evaluation of PFNA in Treatment of Femur Proximal End Fracture in High Risk Elders
Objective To explore clinical effect of PFNA in treatment of femur proximal end fracture in high risk elders. Methods 70 cases with femur proximal end fracture in our hospital were selected as test subjects. Patients were randomly divided into research group and control group, 35 cases in each group. PFNA and locked plating were respectively applied in research group and control. Therapeutic effect was compared. Results Operative time, peri-operative bleeding and incidence rate of postoperative complications in research group were lower than control group. Harris score for postoperative joint in research group was higher than control group. The difference is statistically significant(P <0.05). Conclusion Operation should try to reduce the damage to patients, because tolerance of body reduces. Complications maybe appear. Compared PFNA with locked plating, there are less complicates, less bleeding and so on. PFNA should be taken as the first choice for treating femur proximal end fracture in high risk elders.
