Research and Verification of Dry Calibration Method of Permanent Magnetic Sodium Flowmeter
With the rapid development of sodium cooled fast breeder reactor,permanent magnet sodium flowmeters have been widely used in flow measurement in reactor process loop.In order to meet the measurement accuracy requirements,flowmeter needs to go through real flow calibration,which is costly and time-consuming.In this paper,a dry calibration method based on magnetic measurement is proposed for permanent magnetic sodium flowmeter,that is,flowmeter does not need to go through real flow calibration,and the measurement accuracy can meet the requirement of engineering.Taking DN80 flowmeter as an example,the accuracy verification of dry calibration was carried out.The test results show that the measurement accuracy of the flowmeter after dry calibration is less than 2%FS,which can meet the requirement of fast breeder reactor.
