Experimental study on selectability of gold ore in Jiaodong based on BPMA
Due to the lack of understanding of the mineral composition and gold occurrence state of gold ore in Jiaodong at the beneficiation site, there are problems such as low concentrate grade and recovery rate in the subsequent flotation process. In order to maximize the gold recovery rate, this article used chemical analysis,XRD analysis,BPMA and other methods to focus on studying the chemical composition, mineral composition, and mineralogical characteristics of the gold bearing ore,as well as the occurrence state of gold.Through washability experiments, the optimal production process and parameters were determined. The results show that the gold grade of the ore sample is 3.09 g/t,with a sulfur content of 11.38%;The main metallic minerals are pyrite and a small amount of magnetite, with contents of 22.83%and 0.68%,respectively;The main mineral of gangue is quartz, with a content of 60.03%;Gold minerals mainly exist in the form of encapsulated gold and associated gold, with a small amount being encapsulated by quartz, galena, and other minerals.Under the conditions of using 120 g/t of butyl yellow medicine and 1 g/t of black medicine, and 45 g/t of 2#oil,the final gold grade of the concentrate obtained is 50.42 g/t,with a gold recovery rate of 95.65%,meeting the requirements of the flotation product indicators in the beneficiation plant. The research results have guiding significance for further improving the beneficiation indicators of this type of ore, optimizing the production process and parameters.
