With the rapid development of information technology and the transformation and upgrading of the printing industry,the postgraduate education in printing major is facing the new challenges and opportunities.At the same time,with the expansion of professional degree postgraduates enrollment and the homogenization of academic degree and professional degree graduates training models,it is often difficult to effectively guarantee the quality of education.In this paper,based on analyzing the current training status of postgraduate students in printing majors,combined with the characteristics of postgraduate education in colleges and universities,the four aspects were discussed including diversified teaching and curriculum innovation,strengthening the process management of thesis,strengthening and structural optimization of the tutor team,and career education and employment guidance.A classified training model for postgraduate students in printing majors was proposed to adapts to the development of the times.
