The"Yichan Mountain Carved Stone"vividly reproduces the style of the unified writing system of the Qin Dynasty.The rules of character creation have a profound impact on future calligraphy and the structure of Chinese characters.Studying the character structure characteristics of the"Yichan Mountain Carved Stone"can effectively insight into the rules of Chinese character composition.In this paper,the typical typeface elements of"Yichan Mountain Carved Stone"were analyzed to find out its potential rules and establish a reusable paradigm.The measurement tool of Illustrator was used to quantitatively analyze the scale and distribution of word cavities,stroke thickness,arc,tilt angle,etc.The standard of writing was summarized.A set of methods was established to control the cavity size and distribution of the font type"Yichan Mountain Carved Stone",which could control the layout of the font's center of gravity stability,structure symmetry,and scaling ratio.Standard stroke and radicals libraries were built and spelling rules were established.This method can provide a basis for designing a new font for the"Yichan Mountain Carved Stone"font database,and improve the accuracy and efficiency of development.
