With the advancement of digital intelligence in printing, the application of virtual simulation technology to interactively present printing industrial scenes and equipment operations has become a pressing need and a key technological hotspot in the training of design, printing, publishing, and related talents. The common challenges in domestic professional internships and practices related to printing processes and techniques were addressed in this study, such as limited school resources, the difficulty of establishing actual printing industrial scenes and processes, slow updates of hardware and software, and the inability of cooperating factories to meet students'practical needs.A virtual simulation system for the printing industry was designed and developed based on teaching scenarios. This system used 3D models to construct printing factory scenes and equipment, and created an integrated virtual simulation teaching system for the printing industry that synergizes learning modules, experiment modules, and practice question modules.Utilizing Unity3D interaction and real-time rendering technology,an integrated learning, practice, and assessment environment for printing industrial scenes and book printing industry was provided by the system, overcomed the constraints of school hardware and software resources and effectively addressing the practical issues faced by students in printing practice.
