With the continuous development of technology,museum digital displays have become an indispensable means of presenting artifacts and history.Driven by this digital trend,Leap Motion technology has attracted widespread attention and interest due to its outstanding gesture interaction capabilities.This study aimed to explore how to fully utilize Leap Motion gesture interaction technology to design and implement a novel digital display interaction system for museums,enhancing audience engagement and immersive experiences.An experimental research method was employed,and a gesture interaction system based on Leap Motion technology was developed and implemented.The study was completed through steps including experimental design,equipment selection and installation,gesture recognition and mapping,creation and integration of display content,as well as user testing and optimization.The results indicated that the system accurately captured the audience's hand movements and mapped them to interactions on a large screen,significantly enhancing the display effects and audience interaction experience.The error rate of gesture recognition was controlled within 5%,and the interaction response speed was excellent,meeting the expected goals.This study verifies the effectiveness and feasibility of Leap Motion gesture interaction technology in museum digital displays,providing an innovative display method that presents the public with a richer and more engaging cultural experience.It offers valuable references for the future digital development of museum displays,promoting innovation throughout the industry.
