In order to reveal the influence of pearlescent ink on the spot color matching of cigarette tipping paper,and determine its optimal spot color matching method,in this study,the optical properties of pearlescent ink were analyzed,three geometric conditions for color measurement recommended by CIE were used to obtain the spot color data before and after covering pearlescent ink.Then based on the single-constant Kubelka-Munk theory and Saunderson correction,a recipe prediction model for the spot color was established.After experimental comparison,the influences and spot color matching method were obtained.The result showed that the optical characteristics of the primary inks obtained from the tints of primary inks covered with pearlescent ink with di/8° orde/8°for color measurement have the best spot color matching accuracy.
