Metal 3D printing often has the problems of expensive equipment and high production and research barriers.In this study,based on the selective laser melting technology,the metal tin powder was 3D printed by a 30W low-power fiber laser to study the appropriate parameters suitable for printing tin powder by a low-power fiber laser.Metal lines and solid metal blocks were printed with different parameters,and the forming law and characteristics of tin powder under different parameters were studied.Finally,complex handicrafts were printed in stacks.The experimental results showed that compared with vector graphics,the metal forming effect of bitmap scanning is better.To sum up,the best parameters of tin powder 3D printing are 3 scans in bitmap mode,scanning speed 90mm/s,laser power 80%,focal length 145mm,and 15 powder layers.The tin powder 3D printed by this study method presents a golden yellow metallic luster,has an obvious three-dimensional sense,and a good forming effect,which can be displayed as a handicraft.
