Effects of Dagliprazin and Sitagliptin on the Efficacy and Lipid Metabolism Indexes of Obese Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
Objective To explore the effects of dagliprazin and sitagliptin on the efficacy and lipid metabolism indexes of obese patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods Sixty-eight obese patients with type 2 diabetes admitted to the Fourth Hospital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into test group and control group by double-blind method, with 34 cases in each group. The control group was treated with sitagliptin, and the experimental group was treated with dagliprazin. The efficacy and lipid metabolism indexes of the two groups were compared. Results The effective rate of experimental group was 97.06%higher than that of control group(79.41%)(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG)and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)levels between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the levels of TC,TG and LDL-C in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with sitagliptin, dagliprazin has a better effect on obese type 2 diabetes mellitus and can effectively improve the level of blood sugar and lipid metabolism in patients.
