Effect of Continuous Nursing in Patients with Hyperthyroidism and Its Influence on Medication Compliance and Self-care Ability
Objective To the effect of continuous nursing in patients with hyperthyroidism and its influence on medication compliance and self-care ability.Methods A total of 82 patients with hyperthyroidism who were treated in Gao'an People's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into control group and experimental group,with 41 cases in each group.The control group was given basic care,and the experimental group was given continuous care.Self-care ability,medication compliance,post-discharge self-efficacy and life satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results After 12 weeks of nursing,the scores of self-care ability Scale(ESCA)increased between the two groups,and the scores of ESCA in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The medication compliance rate of experimental group was 92.68%higher than that of control group(75.61%)(P<0.05).After 12 weeks of nursing,the self-efficacy scores and life satisfaction scale(SWLS)scores of the two groups increased,and the self-efficacy scores and SWLS scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of continuous nursing in the care of hyperthyroidism has significant effect,which can improve patients'self-care ability,improve medication compliance,improve self-efficacy,and promote the improvement of their life satisfaction.
