Clinical observation of Zhenhuang capsule combined with Kangfuxin liquid in treating oral ulcer
Objective To study the clinical effect of Zhenhuang capsule combined with Kangfuxin liquid on oral ulcer.Methods Clinical data of 102 patients with oral ulcer admitted to Huzhou Central Hospital from January 2021 to February 2023 were retrospectively collected.According to different treatment methods,the patients were divided into the control group(n=51,receiving conventional therapy)and the observation group(n=51,receiving Zhenhuang capsule and Kangfuxin solution in addition to the medication in control group).All the patients in both groups were treated for 7 days.The clinical efficacy,pain resolution time,ulcer healing time before and after treatment,ulcer area and pain score,interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α)levels and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate was 96.08%in the observation group and 84.31%in the control(χ2=3.991,P<0.05).In the observation group,the pain resolution time,ulcer healing time,ulcer area and pain score after treatment were(3.69±0.38)d,(4.99±0.18)d,(1.86±0.22)mm2 and(1.12±0.23)points,respectively.All these indexes in the observation group were lower than those of(4.85±0.45)d,(6.34±0.22)d,(2.23±0.25)mm2,(1.95±0.45)points in the control(t=14.065,33.917,7.935,11.729,all P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in the observation group were(2.93±0.39)ng·L-1 and(31.26±3.31)ng·L-1,respectively,which were lower than those of(4.14±0.48)ng·L-1 and(34.95±3.25)ng·L-1 in the control(t=13.972,5.681,both P<0.05).The adverse reaction rate was slightly lower in the observation than in the control(1.96%vs 3.92%),showing no significant difference(χ2=0.343,P>0.05).Conclusion Kangfuxin liquid combined with Zhenhuang capsule has good clinical effect in treating oral ulcer since it can better reduce the level of inflammatory factors in the body,promote ulcer healing,relieve patients'pain and has less adverse reactions.Meanwhile,this regimen is relatively safe and reliable.
