Tricuspid regurgitation is a common and serious heart valve disease, which is usually ignored. In recent years, with the deepening of understanding and research on tricuspid valve disease,a variety of transcatheter interventional techniques have been developed to treat tricuspid valve regurgitation.Among which transcatheter edge-to-edge technology has the most practical, and rapidly developed in devices with relatively sufficient evidence, which including MitraClip/TriClip system,PASCAL/PASCAL Ace system,Dragonfly/Dragonfly-T system, etc. However, because of the special anatomical characteristics of the tricuspid valve and the special pathological mechanism of TR,transcatheter edge-to-edge repair for tricuspid regurgitation still faces challenges. In this article, the development status and challenges of T-TEER at home and abroad will be reviewed in order to provide reference for T-TEER application promotion and technical breakthrough.
