Ferroptosis a kind of iron-dependent regulated cell death,which is related to the imbalance of oxidation and anti-oxidant system in vivo.It is involved in the occurrence and progression of various tumors,nervous system diseases,cardiovascular diseases and others.Ferroptosis is related to a variety of diseases,therefore it has attracted much attention in the medical field in recent years.However,the mechanism on diseases mechanism is not completely clear and needs to be further explored.Based on the existing researches,this article will review the research progress of ferroptosis in cardiovascular diseases,in order to find new therapeutic targets and provide new ideas for clinical treatment of diseases.
