摘要

微小RNA(microRNA,miRNA)是一类内源性非编码RNA(non-coding RNA,ncRNA),它以比较稳定和独特的形式存在于哺乳动物、昆虫和植物体内,是参与各种病理生理过程的基因表达的重要调控因子.miRNA的发现对于人类的生命健康,具有深远意义.本文主要从miRNA的生物合成、作用机制、功能、应用前景、临床进展与挑战等方面对miRNA作一概述.同时,探讨miRNA与内源性小分子干扰RNA的异同以及miRNA疗法的优势.随着科学技术的进步,基于miRNA疗法的应用和创新药物开发将继续为人类健康和福祉作出贡献.

Abstract

MicroRNAs(miRNAs)are a class of endogenous non-coding RNA(ncRNA)and exist in a relatively stable and unique form in mammals,insects and plants,and are important regulators of gene expression involved in a variety of pathophysiological processes.The discovery of miRNAs has far-reaching significance for human life and health.In this paper,an overview of miRNAs in terms of their biosynthesis,mechanism of action,function,application prospects,clinical progress and challenges is provided.At the same time,the similarities and differences between miRNAs and siRNA as well as the advantages of miRNAs therapy are discussed.With the advancement of science and technology,the application of miRNA-based therapies and the development of innovative drugs will continue to contribute to human health and well-being.
