摘要

多囊卵巢综合征(polycystic ovary syndrome,PCOS)是生育期女性最常见的内分泌疾病,也是导致不孕的主要原因,涉及复杂的生理和临床特征,高度的异质性为其诊断和治疗带来挑战.如何提高PCOS研究效率、疾病早期诊断率、根据患者多样的症状和生理特征制定个性化的治疗方案、预测并发症风险成为PCOS疾病研究领域亟待解决的问题.人工智能(artificial intelligence,AI)作为一种新兴技术,近年来在医学领域得到广泛关注和应用.基于其强大的数据处理能力,可以通过高效分析患者的个人健康数据,针对上述问题进行算法模型设计,如何将AI应用到PCOS基础研究及临床诊疗中成为研究人员密切关注的问题.本研究汇总介绍近5年AI在PCOS研究中的多种应用,展望未来发展方向,助力PCOS的早期预防、精准诊断和个性化治疗.

Abstract

Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is the most common endocrine disease in women of reproductive age,and it is also the main cause of infertility.It involves complex physiological and clinical features,and its high heterogeneity brings challenges to its diagnosis and treatment.How to improve the efficiency of PCOS research,the early diagnosis rate of the disease,formulate personalized treatment plans according to the various symptoms and physiological characteristics of patients,and the prediction of complications risk have become urgent problems to be solved in the field of PCOS research.As an emerging technology,artificial intelligence (AI)has been widely concerned and applied in the medical field in recent years.Based on its powerful data processing ability,it can efficiently analyze the patient's personal health data and design algorithm models to solve the above problems.How to apply AI to the basic research and clinical diagnosis and treatment of PCOS has become a close concern for researchers.This article summarizes the various applications of AI in PCOS research in the past five years,looks forward to the future development direction,and helps the early prevention,accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment of PCOS.
