Objective Exploring the suture technique of second-degree perineal laceration during vaginal delivery.By optimizing the suture technique,we can improve the suture efficiency, promote the rapid postpartum recovery and reduce the long-term adverse effects. Methods 160 parturients with second-degree laceration of perineum who delivered vaginally in Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital from October 2022 to March 2023 were selected,82 cases in the observation group and 78 cases in the control group. The control group was sutured according to the conventional suture method(continuous or intermittent suture with absorbable suture),and the observation group was treated with modified perineal second-degree laceration suture. The pain degree of perineal wound, the tension degree of vaginal orifice, the width of fossa navicularis vagina, the matching degree of hymen ring and wound healing were to gather statistics. Results Compared to the control group, the observation group exhibited significantly lower overall pain levels, the vaginal opening tension in the observation group was superior to that of the control group, following perineal wound suture, there were significant improvements in scaphoid fossa width and inner and outer hymen ring overlap compared to the control group(P<0.05),while no statistical difference was observed in grade A healing rate between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The modified perineal second-degree laceration suture technique can significantly reduce the pain degree of perineal wound, avoid overtight vaginal orifice suture, improve the involution degree of hymen ring, promote perineal wound healing and increase maternal comfort.
