Investigation of the current state of recurrence fear in patients with condyloma acuminatum after treatment from positive psychology perspective
Objective To explore the current situation of recurrence fear in patients with condyloma acuminatum(CA)after treatment from the perspective of positive psychology.Methods Patients with CA treated in Affiliated Provincial Hospital of Shandong First Medical University from June to December 2022 were selected as the research objects,a total of 143 cases met the inclusion and exclusion criteria.The general information questionnaire,Fear of Progression Questionnaire-Shat Form(FoP-Q-SF),self-acceptance questionnaire(SAQ),Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire(BIPQ)and Family Resilience Assessment Scale(FRAS-C)were used to investigate.Results 41.3%of patients with CA had a high level of recurrence fear;BIPQ score of patients with CA was(36.83±8.93)points,SAQ score was(38.01±9.49)points,FRAS-C score was(91.75±11.42)points.FoP-Q-SF score was positively correlated with BIPQ score(P<0.001),and negatively correlated with SAQ score and FRAS-C score(P<0.001)in patients with CA.Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that frequent staying up late,number of sexual partners and disease perception were the influencing factors of disease recurrence fear(P<0.05).Conclusion Patients with CA have a high level of fear of disease recurrence.Medical staff should actively pay attention to their mental health,improve the self-acceptance,and the level of family flexibility,correctly understanding the disease,to reduce their fear of disease recurrence.
