Effect analysis of Yiqishengtisan acupoint application combined with electrical stimulation on postpartum stress urinary incontinence
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of Yiqishengtisan acupoint application combined with electrical stimulation on postpartum stress urinary incontinence(SUI).Methods 188 women with mild to moderate SUI who were treated in the TCM outpatient clinic of Tangshan Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2022 to May 2023 were randomly divided into control group(electrical stimulation therapy)and experimental group(Yiqishengtisan acupoint application combined with electrical stimulation therapy),with 94 cases in each group and a treatment course of 2 months.The clinical efficacy,pelvic floor muscle strength,urodynamic indexes,urinary leakage and quality of life were compared between the two groups,and the occurrence of adverse reactions was counted.Results Compared with before treatment,the scores of main disease,secondary disease and total TCM syndrome of the two groups decreased after treatment,and those in the experimental group were lower than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,vaginal dynamic pressure,class Ⅰ and class Ⅱ muscle fiber strength,negative pressure leakage point pressure(ALPP),maximum urethral closure pressure(MUCP),bladder compliance(BC)and urinary incontinence quality of life questionnaire(I-QOL)scores in both groups were higher than those before treatment,and the experimental group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the total number of urine leakage per day and 1 h of urine leakage in the two groups were reduced,and the experimental group was less than the control group,and the total clinical effective rate was higher than the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion For postpartum SUI,Yiqishengtisan acupoint application combined with electrical stimulation has significant effects on enhancing pelvic floor muscle strength,improving urinary flow dynamics,reducing urinary leakage,and improving quality of life with high safety.
