Research progresses of amide proton transfer imaging for glioma
Glioma is the most common malignant tumour of central nervous system.Traditional imaging modalities have certain limitations for diagnosis and evaluation on therapetic effect of glioma.Amide proton transfer(APT)could be used not only to accurately asesess the grading and proliferation status of glioma, but also to predict the types of glioma at the molecular level, hence compensating the shortcomings of traditional imaging. The principle of APT imaging, its clinical application value, limitations and prospects for diagnosing glioma were reviewed in this article.
