Application of Drying Aids in the Drying of Traditional Chinese Medicine Extracts
One of the crucial steps in preparing a contemporary solid traditional Chinese medicine formulation is drying of the traditional Chinese medicine extracts.However,the drying efficiency of traditional Chinese medicine extract is low,the energy consumption is high,the extract powder has high hygroscopicity and poor fluidity,and prominent problems such as spray drying wall sticking,have plagued the traditional Chinese medicine pharmaceutical industry for a long time.The addition of drying aids is an effective way to solve the above problems and has important applications in the drying of traditional Chinese medicine extracts.This article analyzes and summarizes the role and main applications of drying aids in the drying of traditional Chinese medicine extracts through literature research,and summarizes the drying mechanism of drying aids,in order to provide a reference for improving the drying efficiency and quality of traditional Chinese medicine extracts.
