Analysis and Reconstruction of Traffic Space in Large Hospitals Based on the Concept of Transportation Hub
In view of the prevalent traffic dilemmas such as parking difficulties and traffic congestion in large hospitals in China, this paper conducts research from the perspective of planning concept and the origin of hospital traffic demand.By analyzing the traffic demand of the hospital, space characteristics, and the courtyard system background,it is demonstrated that the traditional plane layout is inadequate to meet the current traffic organization needs of hospitals.Based on the analysis of the characteristics of hospital traffic flow line, this paper proposes the viewpoint of extrapolating the hospital distribution space and constructs the transition interface and buffer area between the hospital building and the surrounding roads to achieve the transition and transformation of traffic modes. At the same time, following the concept of traffic hub planning, the basic principles and methods of hospital hub planning are analyzed, addressing the complex flow line issues by moving external traffic conflicts inward and utilizing vertical traffic access.Actual cases are used to introduce pedestrian vertical traffic facilities, vertical parking system, vertical public traffic station setting methods.
