The SPD mode is a modern supply chain management approach that enables efficient management of medical consumables through information technology,IoT and artificial intelligence.This paper reviews the international development history of SPD and its current status in China,introduces the application of technologies such as RFID and smart cabinets and analyzes the effectiveness through quantified data,elaborates on the workflow of medical consumable management under the SPD mode through the practice of our SPD project in the Frist Affiliated Hospital Zhejiang University School of Medicine,analyzes the challenges encountered in the application of SPD,and proposes the solutions to these problems.
