Study on the Seismic Rocking Fragility of Free-standing Medicine Cabinets in Typical Hospital Buildings
In this paper, based on the calculation formula of the rocking dynamic response of the free-standing rigid body,a large number of incremental dynamic time history analyses were carried out on the free-standing medicine cabinets with different sizes. The horizontal excitation input considers the floor acceleration response of different floors of a typical hospital building(isolated,non-isolated)under different site characteristic periodic ground motion sets. The analysis results show that the dynamic characteristics of the building structure, the period of site characteristics, the location of the floor and the size of the free-standing medicine cabinet have a certain influence on the vulnerability of the free-standing medicine cabinet. The larger the site characteristic period, the easier it is to damage the free-standing medicine cabinet in the non-seismic isolation building, and the larger the slender angle, the less likely it is to be damaged of the free-standing medicine cabinet in the building.Based on the quantitative analysis of the fragility curve of the free-standing medicine cabinet,a simplified calculation formula for calculating the median value and standard deviation of the fragility curve of the free-standing medicine cabinet was fitted, and the scope of application of the formula was proposed, which could be used in the subsequent evaluation of the seismic resilience of hospital buildings.
