Research progress on the effect of anesthetic drugs on monitoring of recurrent laryngeal nerve during thyroid surgery
Thyroid disease is a common endocrine system disease, mainly caused by insufficient secretion of thyroid function.Currently, surgical resection is the main method for treating thyroid diseases.Recurrent laryngeal nerve injury is a serious complication during thyroid surgery.Postoperative nerve injury can cause hoarseness and even dyspnea in patients, seriously affecting their quality of life.Intraoperative neuro-electrophysiological monitoring can reduce or even avoid the risk of recurrent laryngeal nerve injury, with anesthetic drugs being the main factor affecting intraoperative neuro-electrophysiological monitoring. The use of anesthetic drugs during thyroid surgery is crucial for providing good anesthesia management while ensuring the normal implementation of intraoperative neuromonitoring. This article mainly introduces the impact of anesthetic drugs on intraoperative monitoring of recurrent laryngeal nerve during thyroid surgery,so as to optimize intraoperative anesthesia management, ensure rational use of anesthetic drugs, and avoid the impact of anesthetic drugs on monitoring of recurrent laryngeal nerve, thereby improving surgical quality and shortening recovery time.
