Analysis of the current status and development trends of the research on Clinacanthus nutans based on bibliometrics
Objective To analyze the characteristics,current research status,and development trends of published literature related to the study of the natural herbaceous plant Clinacanthus nutans based on bibliometrics.Methods The literature included in the China national knowledge internet(CNKI)and the Web of Science core data set(WOS)was retrieved,and the retrieval time limit was up to April 30,2023.Systematic bibliometrics analysis was conducted from the total number of papers issued,the annual number of papers issued,country of publication,fund support,keywords,etc.Results 227 articles were included,including 65 CNKI articles and 162 WOS articles.The total number of publications continued to increase,the research popularity and influence gradually expanded,and a certain amount of fund support was obtained.The research countries were mostly tropical or subtropical countries or regions.The research keywords were highly common in the fields of medicinally active ingredients and pharmacological value.Conclusion The research on the related fields of Clinacanthus nutans has formed a certain scale and the scale shows an increasingly strengthening trend.A systematic review and inductive summary of the current research status of Clinacanthus nutans can help predict the development trend in this direction and provide a reference for relevant workers.
