Visual analysis of the current research status of meridian tendon theory based on CiteSpace
Objective To visually analyze the articles related to the meridian tendon theory of traditional Chinese medicine meridian system based on CiteSpace software.Methods The related articles with the theme of"Meridian tendon theory"and"Twelve Meridian Tendons"were retrieved from CNKI,Wanfang,VIP,and other literature databases,with the retrieval period from March 1,2003 to March 1,2023.The knowledge graph of core authors,research institutions,and keywords was generated by CiteSpace software.Results There were 1168 qualified articles and the main authors formed cooperation centered on scholars such as Dong Baoqiang-Song Jie-Lin Xingxing-Fu Yu,Wei Yingcai-Wang Fengde-Liang Shuyong and Yang Lanfei-Liao Jun-Huang Yuting.The main research institutions formed cooperation centered on institutions such as Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine-Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine College of Acupuncture and Tuina,Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine-Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.9 keyword clusters were formed,and the current research status is the meridian tendon therapy established under the guidance of meridian tendon theory.The directions include meridian tendon nodes,meridian tendon diseases,meridian tendon,meridian tendon theory,meridian tendon therapy,meridian tendon massage,cervical spondylosis,periarthritis,and meridian tendon acupuncture.Conclusion This study provides a visual display of the research process,current research status,and development trends in this field from 2003 to 2023,to provide feasible suggestions for future research on meridian tendon theory.
