Study on the effect of antipsychotic drugs combined with non-drug therapy on cognitive function in patients with schizophrenia
Objective To explore the efficacy of antipsychotic drugs combined with non-drug therapy in patients with schizophrenia and their impact on the cognitive function of patients.Methods A total of 80 patients with schizophrenia admitted to Fuzhou Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects.They were divided into a reference group and a treatment group based on a random number table method,with 40 patients in each group.The reference group received antipsychotic drug treatment,while the treatment group received non-drug treatment based on the antipsychotic drug treatment.The psychiatric symptoms,cognitive function,behavioral habits,and quality of life of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the negative symptom index score of the treatment group was lower than that of the reference group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The repeatable battery for the assessment of neuropsychological status(RBANS)scores,quality of life scores,and positive factor scores of the treatment group were higher than those of the reference group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The negative factor score of the treatment group was lower than that of the reference group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Antipsychotic drugs combined with non-drug therapy for schizophrenia can effectively improve patients'psychiatric symptoms and cognitive function,improve quality of life,correct bad habits,and have high application value.
