Analysis of medication rules in the treatment of hypertension using strengthening spleen and dispelling phlegm methods based on traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support system
Objective To use data mining technology to analyze the prescription and medication rules of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of hypertension using the method of strengthening spleen and dispelling phlegm.Methods The clinical prescriptions for the treatment of hypertension using the method of strengthening the spleen and expelling phlegm from January 2003 to January 2023 in the databases of CNKI,VIP,and Wanfang were collected.With the statistical mining function of the traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support system,the characteristics,taste,meridian tropism,efficacy,frequency,etc.of commonly used traditional Chinese medicine,and the drug pair compatibility based on association rules and the core combination based on cluster analysis.Results A total of 116 prescriptions were included,involving 205 traditional Chinese medicines,with mild effects.Mainly using sweet,bitter,and spicy drugs.20 traditional Chinese medicines,such as poria cocos and pinellia ternata,were mainly used in the spleen,liver,and lung meridians,with a frequency of≥15 times.They were mainly tonifying herbs,liver calming medicine,and diffusing dampness medicine.Excavated 7 association rules,such as poria cocos,atractylodes macrocephala,gastrodia elata,dried tangerine peel,pinellia ternata,etc.,and obtained 6 core prescriptions,which were similar to Erchen decoction.Conclusion The application of the method of strengthening spleen and dispelling phlegm to treat hypertension is in line with the treatment methods of strengthening the spleen and dispelling dampness,resolving phlegm and claiming Qi.It also promotes blood circulation,clearing heat,and tonifying the kidney,reflecting the traditional Chinese medicine philosophy of"treating diseases must be based on the root cause"and emphasizing the regulation of the spleen and stomach.
