Analysis of the expression characteristics of levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D,vitamin A,and vitamin E in the serum of premature twins with gestational age<32 weeks and child patient prognosis
Objective To analyze the expression characteristics of levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D,vitamin A,and vitamin E in the serum of premature twins(gestational age<32 weeks). Methods A total of 100 cases of premature twins admitted to the Department of Neonatology of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Mudanjiang Medical University from January 2015 to June 2021 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into two groups according to"gestational age"(50 cases in each group).50 cases of gestational age≥32 weeks were included in the control group, and 50 cases of gestational age<32 weeks were included in the observation group.25-hydroxyvitamin D,vitamin A,and vitamin E in the serum were tested in both groups. The test results and complication rates of the two groups were compared. Results The observation group had lower levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D([19.32±6.91]nmol/L),vitamin A([358.71±116.02]nmol/L),and vitamin E([450.25±174.25]nmol/L)compared to the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The incidence rate of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome(RDS),fetal growth restriction(FGR),bronchopulmonary dysplasia(BPD)in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The incidence rate of other diseases in the observation group was compared with that in the control group, without statistically significant difference(P>0.05).The incidence of RDS and FGR in patients with 25-hydroxyvitamin D deficiency was higher than that in patients without vitamin 25-hydroxyvitamin D deficiency, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The incidence of RDS,BPD,and FGR in patients with vitamin A deficiency was higher than that in in patients without vitamin A deficiency, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Premature twins with gestational age<32 weeks have relatively low levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D,vitamin A,and vitamin E in the serum, and are more prone to various complications. Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen management and intervention in daily life and achieve the objective of improving prognosis by supplementing vitamins reasonably.
