Evaluation of the intervention effect of thermal insulation nursing based on the feedforward control concept on intraoperative and resuscitation period hypothermia in elderly patients undergoing orthopedic surgery
Objective To explore the intervention effect of thermal insulation nursing based on the feedforward control concept on intraoperative and resuscitation period hypothermia in elderly patients undergoing orthopedic surgery. Methods A total of 120 elderly patients receiving orthopedic surgery in the Department of Orthopaedics of Guigang City People's Hospital from January to July 2022 were selected. They were divided into the control group and the observation group using the random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received thermal insulation nursing based on the feedforward control concept on the basis of the nursing in the control group. The changes in vital signs before and after surgery, the incidence of intraoperative and resuscitation period hypothermia, the incidence of restlessness and chills during the resuscitation period, the resuscitation time, muscle strength recovery time, and postoperative nursing satisfaction between the two groups were compared. Results Compared with the control group, the observation group showed an increase in body temperature, and a decrease in heart rate and blood pressure(P<0.05),a decrease in the incidence of hypothermia and restlessness,a shorter postoperative resuscitation time and muscle strength recovery time(P<0.05),and an increase in nursing satisfaction(P<0.05).Conclusion Thermal insulation nursing based on feedforward control has a significant intervention effect on intraoperative and resuscitation period hypothermia in elderly patients undergoing orthopedic surgery, and has a positive significance in promoting body recovery.
