Study on the impact of personalized nursing intervention on the quality of 18F-FDG PET/CT examination and image quality of tumor patients
Objective To explore the impact of personalized nursing interventions on the 18F-FDG PET/CT examination quality and image quality in tumor patients. Methods A total of 100 tumor patients who underwent 18F-FDG PET/CT examination at the Cancer Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi Medical University from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects and were divided randomly into an observation group and a control group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing intervention, while the observation group received personalized nursing intervention.A comparative study was conducted on the examination quality and image quality of the two groups of patients. Results The incidence in terms of imaging agent overflow(P=0.017),injection frequency(P=0.042),increased intestinal uptake(P=0.046),increased vocal cord uptake(P=0.037),increased eye muscle uptake(P=0.027),and increased systemic muscle uptake(P=0.037)in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Implementing personalized nursing interventions for tumor patients during the 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging examination process is beneficial for improving examination and image quality, and benefiting both patients and medical staff. Therefore,it is worth promoting.
