Research on evaluation of standardized clinical pathway management in medical institutions based on entropy-weighted TOPSIS method
Objective To construct a standardized evaluation index system for clinical pathway management in medical institutions and conduct comprehensive empirical research to provide a scientific basis for improving the level of standardized clinical pathway management in the region. Methods Based on literature review and expert consultation,a clinical pathway management evaluation index system was established, and empirical research was conducted using the entropy-weighted technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution(TOPSIS)method based on data from 25 secondary and above-grade medical institutions in Weifang City. Results A standardized evaluation index system covering three dimensions, namely standardized management of clinical pathways, quality safety, and resource consumption was established, and a comprehensive evaluation was conducted on the standardized management of clinical pathways in 25 medical institutions in Weifang City. Conclusion This study objectively and quantitatively analyzed the key factors affecting the standardization level of clinical pathway management, which helps guide medical institutions to continuously improve their medical quality management level in the context of high-quality development.
