A case study of systemic lupus erythematosus complicated with diffuse panbronchiolitis
Systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)is an autoimmune disease that affects multiple systems throughout the body, with the lungs being one of the commonly affected parts.Diffuse panbronchiolitis(DPB)is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by diffuse respiratory bronchiolitis in both lungs. If left untreated,it may eventually develop into respiratory failure and even lead to death. At present, there are no reported cases of SLE combined with DPB in China. In addition, such cases are mainly characterized by atypical clinical manifestations such as cough, phlegm, wheezing and dyspnea after activity, etc.,making it difficult to distinguish, which can easily lead to misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis. This article reports the treatment process of a case of SLE combined with DPB and reviews relevant literature, analyzing the pathogenesis and identification points of this case,in order to provide reference ideas for clinical diagnosis and treatment of this type of patient.
