Differences in HBV-DNA quantification and serologic test results among patients with different conditions of hepatitis B
Objective To analyze the correlation between the HBV-DNA quantification and serologic test results n patients with hepatitis B,and to observe the differences in the positive rates of hepatitis B virus(HBV)-DNA and the results of serologic tests in different diseases. Methods A total of 375 hepatitis B patients admitted to the Taixing People's Hospital,Jiangsu Province from April 2021 to April 2023 were selected as the research data. The difference of HBA-DNA quantification test results of patients with different hepatitis B serologic test results(hepatitis B surface antigen[HBsAg],hepatitis B surface antibody[HBsAb],hepatitis B e antigen[HBeAg],hepatitis B e antibody[HBeAb],hepatitis B core antibody[HBcAb])was compared, and the patients were divided into a positive group and a negative group according to the HBV-DNA quantification test results. The difference of the hepatitis B serologic test was compared, and Pearson correlation analysis was used; The patients were divided into a hepatitis group,a cirrhosis group, and a liver cancer group according to the disease type, and the differences of hepatitis B serologic test types and the HBV-DNA quantification test results among the three groups were compared. Results The positive rate of HBV-DNA in patients with different hepatitis B serologic test models was compared, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The levels of HBsAg and HBeAg of patients in the HBV-DNA positive group were higher than those of patients in the HBV-DNA negative group, while the levels of HBsAb,HBeAb,and HBcAb were lower than those in the HBV-DNA negative group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The levels of HBsAg and HBeAg were positively correlated with HBV-DNA(P<0.05),while the levels of HBsAb,HBeAb,and HBcAb were negatively correlated with HBV-DNA(P<0.05).The positive rate of types of hepatitis B serologic test in patients with different disease types were compared, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05),and the quantitative detection results of HBV-DNA in patients with different disease types was compared, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The HBV-DNA quantification test in patients with hepatitis B is correlated with the serologic test results. There are differences in HBV-DNA between different hepatitis B serologic test models and between different diseases. The combination of HBV-DNA quantification test and serologic test can better reflect the situation of virus replication and disease progress and guide clinical treatment.
