Teaching research on 5G smart education in clinical anesthesiology
Objective To explore the feasibility of applying 5G smart education in clinical anesthesia teaching, construct specific teaching models, and evaluate their application effects. Methods A total of 102 undergraduate clinical anesthesiology students from the University of South China from September to December 2021 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into a traditional education group and a 5G education group using the random number table method, receiving traditional classroom education and 5G smart education, respectively, with 51 students in each group. The assessment scores, quantitative scores of clinical decision-making abilities, quantitative scores of learning ability, and student satisfaction scores were compared between the two groups. Results All dimensions scores of assessment scores, clinical decision-making abilities, learning ability, and student satisfaction, and overall scores in the 5G education group were higher than those in the traditional education group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of 5G smart education in clinical anesthesia teaching has broad prospects. The application of this model can not only enhance students'knowledge and skills but also add impetus to the transformation of the training paradigm for anesthesiologists.
