Effect of multidisciplinary collaborative nutrition nursing on nutritional status and immune function of patients with breast cancer undergoing postoperative chemotherapy
Objective To explore the effect of multidisciplinary collaborative nutrition nursing on the nutritional status of patients with breast cancer undergoing postoperative chemotherapy. Methods A total of 80 patients with breast cancer undergoing postoperative chemotherapy in the Third Affiliated People's Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected to cooperate with the study, and were divided into two groups according to a random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received the traditional nursing intervention, while the observation group received the multidisciplinary collaborative nutrition nursing intervention. The nutritional status, compliance behavior, and immune function were compared between the two groups. Results The nutritional status was compared between the two groups before the intervention, without statistically significant difference(P>0.05).After the intervention, the levels of albumin(ALB)and hemoglobin(Hb)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The proportion of compliance behaviors in the observation group, including timely follow-up visits, timely medication, reasonable diet, and regular exercise, was higher than that in the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The immune function indicators were compared between the two groups before the intervention, without statistically significant difference(P>0.05).After the intervention, the levels of cluster of differentiation 3+(CD3+)cluster of differentiation 4+(CD4+),and CD4+/cluster of differentiation 8+(CD8+)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The World Health Organization quality of life measurement scale(WHOQOL-BREF)score,as a comparison indicator, was compared before the intervention, without statistically significant difference(P>0.05).After the intervention, the score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of multidisciplinary collaborative nutrition nursing for patients with breast cancer undergoing postoperative chemotherapy is obvious. The nutritional status of patients has been significantly improved, and their compliance behavior has been improved. At the same time, their immune function has been significantly improved. Therefore,it can be used for reference and promoted clinically.
