Visual analysis of traditional Chinese medicine treatment for central serous chorioretinopathy based on CiteSpace
Objective To visually analyze the research on the traditional Chinese medicine treatment for central serous chorioretinopathy(CSC),and explore its research hotspots,progress,and trends.Methods A computer retrieval was conducted on the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)to collect Chinese literature related to the treatment of CSC with traditional Chinese medicine.The retrieval duration was from the establishment of the database until July 30,2023.CiteSpace 6.2.R3 Advanced software was used to analyze literature features such as authors,institutions,and keywords,and a knowledge graph was drawn.Results A total of 516 articles were included.In recent years,the number of publications has shown a downward trend.The keywords for high centrality included macular area,macular edema,and syndrome differentiation and treatment;The clustering theme included the lesion location and characteristics of CSC,and common treatment methods and prescriptions for traditional Chinese medicine in treating CSC.Conclusion Currently,research on the treatment of CSC with traditional Chinese medicine is gradually becoming mature,with a focus on the staged differentiation and treatment of CSC.The research trend is clinical observation and efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of CSC.Different teams and institutions should strengthen cooperation and communication to broaden the breadth of research in this field and promote research progress.
