The construction of a diversified intervention program based on progressive theory and its impact on the rehabilitation effect of patients with otitis media
Objective To explore and analyze the construction of a diversified intervention program based on progressive theory and its impact on the rehabilitation effect of patients with otitis media. Methods A prospective study was conducted on 110 patients with chronic suppurative otitis media who received treatment at Zhongshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2020 to March 2022.They were divided into nursing group A and nursing group B using a random number table method, with 55 patients in each group.Nursing group A received routine nursing, while nursing group B received diversified interventions based on progressive theory based on the treatment of nursing group A.The hearing efficacy, quality of life scores,self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and self-rating depression scale(SDS)scores, nursing satisfaction, treatment time and cost, and incidence of complications of the two groups of included patients were observed and analyzed. Results After the intervention, the hearing efficacy, quality of life scores, and nursing satisfaction of patients in nursing group B were significantly higher than those of patients in nursing group A,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Meanwhile,after the intervention, the time for hearing improvement, the time for the disappearance of otitis media effusion, treatment costs,SAS and SDS scores, and the total incidence of complications in nursing group B were significantly shorter and lower than those in nursing group A,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of diversified interventions based on progressive theory in patients with otitis media has a significant efficacy on hearing, which can effectively improve their quality of life and nursing satisfaction, alleviate their depression and anxiety, and reduce treatment time and costs, with a low incidence of complications. Therefore,it is worthy of widespread clinical use.
