Meta-analysis of compound Danshen Dropping Pills combined with isosorbide mononitrate in the treatment of coronary heart disease and angina pectoris
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of the compound Danshen Dripping Pills combined with isosorbide mononitrate in the treatment of coronary heart disease and angina pectoris.Methods Computer retrieval was conducted on databases such as China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),VIP,Wanfang,PubMed,and Web of Science.The retrieval duration was from the establishment of the database to February 28,2023.Relevant clinical randomized controlled trial(RCT)were collected,and RCT were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria.meta-analysis was conducted using Review Manager 5.3 software.Results 14 RCTs were included,and the meta-analysis results showed the total effective rate(OR=5.01,95％CI[3.39,7.42],P＜0.000 01),the number of angina pectoris attacks(MD=-1.75,95％CI[-2.43,-1.07],P＜0.000 01),the duration of angina pectoris attacks(MD=-1.87,95％CI[-2.47,-1.26],P＜0.000 01),total cholesterol(MD=-0.96,95％CI[-1.19,-0.73],P＜0.000 01),triglycerides(MD=-0.52,95％CI[-0.65,-0.40],P＜0.000 01),and adverse reactions(OR=0.64,95％CI[0.43,0.97],P=0.03)of the observation group were better than the control group.Conclusion The combination of compound Danshen Dripping Pills with isosorbide mononitrate and conventional Western medicine has significant clinical efficacy and high safety in the treatment of coronary heart disease and angina pectoris.However,more well-designed,multi-sample,multi-center,and double-blind RCT are needed to provide evidence support.
